Common questions
Do I have to pay to start?
No. Planner is free forever and needs no card. You only need Pro once you have a 529 and real expenses to track.
Does Launch529 hold my 529 money?
No. Your money stays with your 529 plan provider. Launch529 helps you plan, then tracks spending and keeps records. You can optionally link your account for read-only balances.
What happens to my plan when I upgrade?
Everything carries over. Your children, schools and savings goals are the foundation Pro builds on, so there is nothing to re-enter.
Can my student use it?
Yes. Students get their own login. The base price covers 2 people, such as a parent and a student, and each expense they log waits for a parent to approve.
